Together with Bart Romijn he established Warner Strategy & Fundraising in 2004. Theo and Bart have led a successful consultancy firm, until 2014, when Bart moved to become CEO of Partos. Within Warner, Theo has been in charge of over 500 assignments executed by a small team of senior consultants. He is very familiar with the changing landscape of international policy organizations and with changing financial opportunities, in the private and public sector and in the landscape of philanthropy. He has successfully developed numerous business plans and proposals. Warner Strategy & Fundraising and VK-consult BV merged in 2014, and became a fiscal unity. Relevant Education: Doctoral thesis in Public Administration (1983) and in Biology (1983) (Marine and Freshwater ecology) at the University of Amsterdam (faculties of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and Social and Political Sciences). Postdoctoral grade in Corporate Management (1998) (University of Amsterdam, Institute of Management and Corporate Sciences). Master course in Organisational Change and Interim Management (two years, finished in 2003), SIOO. Present Position: Executive director, owner and senior consultant at Warner Strategy & Fundraising BV (since 2005) and Executive director and co-owner of VK-consult BV (since 1999).
